Viñales is the most renowned valley in Cuba. It is situated in the limestone hills of the Sierra de los Organos hills. The major attractions in the valley are the cone-shaped mogote hills - which are a type of butte - and the exceptional landscapes.
Stop at the Hotel Los Jasmines, which has a beautiful lookout over the valley. Tour the valley and visit the "Mural of Prehistory". This immense painting (120 x 180 meters) completely covers the vertical wall of a mogote and depicts the entire evolutionary process of the area.
You will take a boat ride down the river that runs through the cave at the "Cave of the Indian". Lunch at a local restaurant. Depart for the city of Pinar del Rio to visit a cigar factory and the "Guayabita del Pinar" rum factory.
